We join you — in person or virtually — to walk through a property with your goals in mind. Before the viewing, we have a initial conversation so we can create a tailored checklist based on your brief, so you know some helpful tips of what to look for. During the visit, we can help you assess layout, light, privacy, and potential for future works — all through the lens of your lifestyle and long-term plans.

 

What You Get
- A brief-based checklist: personalised to your priorities (e.g. natural light, future-proofing, family lifestyle, flow, sustainability)
- A guided viewing: with architectural verbal insight which may include layout, extension potential, planning context, and retrofit feasibility.
- A follow-up summary: a letter highlighting what was discussed, with next steps if you want to explore further, e.g. commissioning a Design Potential Report

Our Design Potential Report takes a deeper dive — tailored to your lifestyle and aspirations. We analyse how the property can be reconfigured, extended, or improved to match your brief and future goals. From layout options to planning context and sustainability upgrades, this report gives you a clear, expert roadmap.


By commissioning a Design Potential Report, you’ll gain:

While we can’t tell you whether to buy a particular home — that decision is yours — we can help you understand what it offers, what its limitations are, and how it might evolve to suit your life.

If you would like any further meetings following our initial consultation, and prior to our appointment, we would charge £80 +VAT per hour, per architect for a meeting.

​

Consultation Charges policy: 

 Please note that in all cases (unless you are within 30 miles of Stroud) additional charges of expenses are charged separately such as mileage. Additional meetings on top of our initial meeting are also non-refundable. Expenses are defined as milage at 45p per mile, Emission Zone charges + Parking (if applicable). Need a caveat
